Evening roundup

Hm. Well, it looks like they couldn't fill the auditorium for The One's speech so they had to run out and recruit people. Over at Cleveland.com.
And did you know we are having a temper tantrum? Let's insult the electorate when we can't quite figure out why they're mad at us. But he's not being partisan, mind you. That would be Eugene Robinson, apologist.
And did you know that the NEXT bubble to burst is the higher education bubble? That is, college costs too much for what people are getting out of it. Why should people pay so much, some of whom will not even graduate, and then be unable to get a job that pays anything worth paying off their college debts? Glenn Reynolds has written repeatedly about this and now Michael Barone has taken up the cause over the the NY Post. And Ian Cooper at the Examiner.
And the whole Obama dog thing. How obnoxious was that. It had a smelly racist tinge to it, in some people's eyes. It gave others the excuse to rant about how poorly The One is being treated. Heh. Don't think so. Some suspected The One of associating with a song by Jimi Hendrix. Others explained.
Some of us wish we could be treated like a dog. Nobody has it better than a dog in my house.
