Faithful America: More NEWSPEAK from Obama followers

Now there's another group supporting social justice, utilizing evangelical language to discourage attendance at the tea parties, listening to Glenn Beck. The tea parties are "lying" and causing "fear." Apparently this is a reference to the fact that tea partiers are concerned about the 13 trillion dollar debt the current administration has racked up. Here's the website. Here's their goal:

Our goal: to counter the fear and the lies the Tea Party and extreme pundits are spewing this summer.
Free speech, you see, is now "hate" speech, especially if you do not agree with the liberal progressive social justice agenda of taking everything you earn and own and giving it to a more deserving, needy individual, regardless of citizenship:
Our political process has gotten out of hand. For too long we’ve seen partisan pundits passing off ugly rumors as truth and hateful rhetoric cropping up at Tea Party rallies across the country.
It’s our job as citizens -- and as people of faith -- to stand up for our values, speak out against hate and make a positive contribution to healthier debates in our communities
How did this organization get started? Here's your answer:

History
Faithful America was founded on June 15, 2004, when Americans of faith raised $36,000 to place an advertisement on Arabic-language satellite television expressing regret to Muslims for the abuse committed by Americans at Abu Ghraib prison.
Oddly, this website is affiliated with a blog at Time magazine, whose readers die off daily:

Glenn Beck's Latest Heresy
Posted by ALEX ALTMAN Wednesday, July 14, 2010 at 3:56 pmTIME's Elizabeth Dias files this report:
“If you just tuned in, boy, this has got to be the weirdest damn episode you've ever heard on the Glenn Beck program,” Glenn Beck admitted late last night, as he took another shot at Christian social justice missions. This time he claimed that black liberation theology—theology that believes Jesus saves victims from their oppressors—forces whites to unnecessarily confess to racism and inspires the government to redistribute money from wealthy whites to victimized minorities. Because Jesus is not a victim, in Beck's words, “Social justice isn't in the Bible."
Here you can find the script for their new ad, excoriating Glenn Beck for attacking "Christian pastors for preaching the full Gospel." You can listen to this ridiculous ad here.
Here's the Facebook page. Heh. Apparently it's being flooded by Glenn Beck fans, preaching the gospel at them. Double heh.
  Wonder WHO'S BEHIND THIS GROUP???!!!!!
  Wonder if it's GEORGE SOROS???
UPDATE at Catholic Advocate, which explains the connection with liberal "Catholic" groups and their pro-abortion legislation:

Founded in 1972 under the leadership of Father John Baumann, a Jesuit who learned community organizing in Chicago, PICO has a history of using CCHD money to promote pro-choice candidates for office.  During the campaign for health care reform, PICO organized “Faith and Health Care Sundays” throughout the country.  Teaming with  Jim Wallis’ Sojourners and the George Soros funded Catholics in Alliance for the Common Good, PICO provided congregations with a Health Care Tool Kit to help sell the legislation.
Now their attention has turned to financial reform.  On April 29th, PICO and Faithful America joined with allies, including the National People’s Action, the AFL-CIO, SEIU, and MoveOn.org at a 4,000 person rally and march in New York City to confront banks with their demands. Carrying placards saying “No Bonuses for Big Banks” and “Wall Street: Never Again,” demonstrators took over the lobbies of Chase Bank and Wells Fargo/Wachovia “in order to get our message of reform to the leadership and CEOs of those institutions. We chanted, sang and refused to be moved until a letter with our demands was delivered to the offices of the CEOs.”
