Appoint a man who "loves" health care rationing?

Why would you do it? Why would you appoint Berwick, who loves the English health care system that has been repeatedly proven to be not only inadequate, but criminal? We must face the fact that we do not value the same things that Obama values. He, with his 24/7 personal health care for life, will never suffer from unchanged sheets, inadequate nursing care and lack of medicine. Already patients have been told that certain treatments will no longer be available under Obamacare, primarily because of cost and the "experimental" nature of much of today's treatment. • Breast cancer mortality is 52 percent higher in Germany than in the United States and 88 percent higher in the United Kingdom.

• Some "56 percent of Americans who could benefit from statin drugs, which reduce cholesterol and protect against heart disease, are taking them. By comparison, of those patients who could benefit from these drugs, only 36 percent of the Dutch, 29 percent of the Swiss, 26 percent of Germans, 23 percent of Britons, and 17 percent of Italians receive them."
