The Rise of the New Left: Is anyone looking?

  Turnabout's fair play, Chris Matthews.
Let's take a look at the way the left has evolved over the last few years. What's different and what's emerging in the left, particularly under the leadership of one Barack Hussein Obama. (Ooops! Did I use his middle name?)
Dear leader, the leader of the free world, now bows to just about everyone, particularly Arab countries and countries to which we owe excessive amounts of money, with the exception of the British, the Poles, the French.
We also now make excuses for left wingers. All the better if the behavior we are excusing is bad:

We give away money now, for free, but it's okay because it's OBAMA MONEY! Whoohoo!

And to support the new dependencies, we print more money, which really IS Obama money since he's the one who's been busy printing it, so much that even the Chinese are unnerved. It's now 2010. How much more has been printed since last August?
Since late August [2009], the Fed has expanded its balance sheet from about $900 billion to more than $2.2 trillion, creating $1.3 trillion that did not exist to replace some of the trillions wiped out by falling house prices and vengeful stock markets.
Government jobs, once primarily sought for stability and good benefits, now also exceed private sector pay, plus there's the added benefit of getting paid for surfing porn. WHEEE!!! A chart is here.
These same highly paid union individuals no longer consider it beneath them or humiliating to ask "Where's the money?" while rubbing fingers together in a give me the bucks motion. The idea of "professional behavior" seems to have evolved over the past few years.

Job loss, against which we have vowed "bold action," is staggering under Obama. In fact, job loss is now an "improvement." Also, the job market is in a "deep funk," apparently caused not by governmental mismanagement but monthly mood swings of the economy.
In addition, we (the government-we are all ONE now) increasingly are using Newspeak, the 1984 technique of influencing thought through language and naming:(LINK)
Bashing the President is no longer in. Instead we refer to Dear Leader with adoration and endearing names, such as "Lightbringer" and "Messiah." Children sing of Dear Leader. Teachers encourage singing about Dear Leader all over the country.
Left wing bloggers are invited to White House briefings and "town hall" meetings are so tightly controlled that wags are calling them "infomercials." Even the Democratic Underground has noticed. Is the fainting also scripted? The One certainly seems to remain calm with the proper response each time "it" happens
We've federalized health care against the will of the people, the auto industry, banks. Many jobs have been lost. Now we're working on losing jobs for shrimp farmers, oil workers, fishermen...
The future of the internet is threatened by government "oversight." "Obama threatens" is a common phrase, usually followed by "new regulations" and "restrictions" and "control," all actions of which Bush was widely accused but Obama actually does.
The Federal Communications Commission on Thursday took its first formal step towards the adoption of new regulations for the broadband industry, setting the stage for what could become one of the most expensive lobbying campaigns to hit Capitol Hill by major telecommunications and cable providers.
The vice of government intervention tightens in ways never dreamed by the Bush/Cheney "regime," in ways the New York Times is not willing to reveal, contrary to their previous tendency to print military secrets even at the expense of national security. Oh, wait, they don' t have to do that anymore, since "our" government is going to do it for them.
Fashion has been redefined by the New Left. Womanhood has been redefined. Fawning over anything emanating from the White House is chic.
1: She is redefining the world of political fashion one step at a time; in some very trendy peep toe kitten heels no less. Gone are the days of the typical two-piece, box-shouldered, power suit. On her way to becoming a greater fashion iconthat Jacqueline Kennedy, Obama has paved the way for feminine expression in professionalism.

Everybody's a racist now. Proof not needed. Comedians who joke about Obama are racists. Opposition to Obamacare is racist. Arguing with Obama is racist. Saying Obama is angry is racist. When we DO attempt to prove opposition to Obamacare is racist, we start with that presupposition using taxpayer dollars to prove taxpayers are racists. When left wing comedians crack jokes about Obama, angst ensues. Is it really racist or are we taking things too seriously? (1984)
You don't have to pay your mortgage anymore, even though you shouldn't have bought the house to begin with anyway because you couldn't afford it. Unlike leaving the door open with the heat on, this is a good thing, cuz we can just print more money.
Congress critters who defended Fannie and Freddie as solvent when Bush tried to change it now blame on the Republicans (?) the fact that they, Barney and Chris, changed the rules for who could borrow. Amnesia sets in.
Why was there no action in the full Senate? As most Americans know today, it takes 60 votes to cut off debate in the Senate, and the Republicans had only 55. To close debate and proceed to the enactment of the committee-passed bill, the Republicans needed five Democrats to vote with them. But in a 45 member Democratic caucus that included Barack Obama and the current Senate Banking Chairman Christopher Dodd (D., Conn.), these votes could not be found.
We bail out everything, even on our friends.
1776 really is back. Tea parties abound. The British are again our enemies.
It's now fashionable for even the elite to utter sexual slurs against the tea partiers, usually accompanied by a smirk.
PARTIES and GOLFING are hot again, unlike the previous administration!!!!!!!!!!
And one of the most EXCITING developments of the Rise of the New Left: VIOLENCE!!!! From Newsbusters:

And, AND, AND, it is now acceptable for the president of the United States to blame everyone for everything for which he is responsible, particularly his predecessor (930,000 entries on Google). Dear Leader, in typical Newspeakean, then goes on to easily and unabashedly admonish children not to blame others for their own failures:
"My second piece of advice-don't make excuses.  Take responsibility not just for your successes, take responsibility when you fall short, as well.  The truth is, no matter how hard you work, you won't necessarily ace every class or succeed in every job.  There will be times when you screw up, when you hurt people you love, when you stray from your most deeply held values.
"And when that happens, it's the easiest thing in the world to start looking around for someone to blame.  Your professor was too hard, your boss was a jerk, the coach was playing favorites.... It's an easy habit to get into.  You see it every day in Washington, folks calling each other names, making all kinds of accusations.  Everyone's always pointing the finger at someone else."
The New Left, as characterized by the Main Stream Media who are Democrats, also finds it acceptable to parrot Dear Leader's advice, commands, leads on stories (Example: outrage at BP executive for sailing, as instructed by Rahm Emanuel, but little or no MSM coverage of Dear Leader's golfing adventure the same day during Golf, oops, GULF crisis). The MSM admits its connection with the New Left without embarrassment, even while lamenting it is really, really tough to get talented conservative journalists.
In fact, the formerly snarling press which used to view itself as a watchdog, is now benignly and impotently sycophantic and adoring like this:

QUESTION: Thank you, Mr. President. During these first 100 days, what has surprised you the most about this office? Enchanted you the most from serving in this office?Humbled you the most? And troubled you the most?
And:
you're nervous about that?
And this question, which is uppermost in the minds of the MSM "watchdog" since that's what they think about America too:
What do you dislike most about America?'"
Obviously civic journalism, in which journalists decide what the news will be rather than just report it objectively, has become all the rage, thus the rise of the citizen journalist and blogger, both gateway blogger and terminus blogger.
With the rise of the New Left, there's no need to have a federal budget anymore! My, how things have changed! It's grand, printing all this money and then not having a budget!
