Remarkable Huckabee show on oil spill reairs tonight

Dozens of options are available to ameliorate the damage done by the oil spill. Though the government does not have the ability apparently to cap the well, at least you'd think the government could help get rid of the oil that is damaging the beaches and wildlife. Huckabee said that numerous other processes are available and that his show was only showing nine available. This was truly a remarkable program. If you did not see it, set your DVR to record it, as it reairs tonight at 8:00 p.m. Here is a rundown on the techniques and methods demonstrated on this show:

  • Kevin Costner's technology
  • Dan Parker--CI Agent--a company that makes a harmless polymer that turns oil into a nontoxic malleable solid. Parker demonstrated its efficacy by drinking the purified water.
  • Just using HAY--CW Roberts Contracting--Didn't wait for government to affirm to save Fort Walton beaches--met with contractors who employed the method (and made a product) to absorb the oil from paving streets. A Youtube demonstration HERE
  • Soft biodegradable organic reusable compound that cleans oil from birds and water (edisoninventors.org). Feathers immersed in this product are completely free of oil.
  • Beeswax microcapsules containing indigenous ecotypes (WEBSITE) which create a barrier and prevent water from being tainted by the oil--no cleanup required--works on everything including wildlife
  • Live report from Magnolia Springs, Al--fire chief did not WAIT for governmental approval-boom rendered ineffective due to wave action-employed barges as barriers-
  • Aplus-an organic biodegradable natural product that quickly soaks up the oil, including benzenes and explosive vapors--renders the oil impossible to cling to birds--1.2 million tons available--A Plus Absorbent--
  • Phil McCrory--human hair--(ottiemat.com)-recovers oil and absorbs oil from water immediately--reusable 200 times-EPA approved (huh-it's just hair)
  • Charles Binnick-Ecosphere-ecospheretech.com-oxidation process chemical free process treatment process-also oil/water separator than can recover 50,000 gallons a day--BP is talking to this company-putting highly oxygenated water into the site--won't disperse contaminated water but will rise to be treated
No one knows why these companies and others have not been contacted by BP or the government or the Coast Guard. Can more be done, other than press conferences in which we lament our inability to suck up the oil with a straw or photo ops posing on the beach in our pleated pants and high topped Eccos?

It appears so.
