McChrystal vs Obama: Clash of the Titan Egos!

It appears many of the rules that endanger our soldiers' lives originated with McChrystal, although it is unclear if those rules originated above McChrystal himself. Washington Examiner:

One soldier shows me the list of new regulations the platoon was given. “Patrol only in areas that you are reasonably certain that you will not have to defend yourselves with lethal force,” the laminated card reads. For a soldier who has traveled halfway around the world to fight, that’s like telling a cop he should only patrol in areas where he knows he won’t have to make arrests. “Does that make any f–king sense?” Pfc. Jared Pautsch. “We should just drop a f–king bomb on this place. You sit and ask yourself:  What are we doing here?”
Byron York says little respect existed for McChrystal from numerous sources:
“Those of us who knew him would unanimously tell you that this was just a matter of time,” the man says.  “He talks this way all the time.  I’m surprised it took this long for it to rear its ugly head.”
“He had great disdain for anyone, as he said, ‘in a suit,’” the former military man continues.  “I was shocked one day in a small group of people when he took [former Defense Secretary Donald] Rumsfeld to task in front of all of us.”
Looks like it's CLASH OF THE TITAN EGOS! What will happen next? What will Obama do? He is obligated to his Afghanistan strategy! Stay tuned!
