The Fly: a year ago and today

Ugh. What a day. Now Drudge is featuring a photo of Obama with a fly on his face. Obviously this brings to mind the interview a year or so ago in which Obama cockily swatted a fly and the interviewer John Harwood oohed in admiration. Obama cacked, "Whatdya say, Gibbs?" This led to an onslaught of gushing over how "cool" The LIghtbringer was and PETA's protestations that the fly deserved LIFE, I tell ya, LIFE (as opposed to babies in the womb, of course). They called him a NINJA for swatting that little fly.
Now almost a year to the day, look what we have. A dirty fly landing on the visage of The One, the Messiah who hovers "like God" above us. Take a look, if you dare, and reflect on what a difference a year makes, public perception and where we are one year later.
