The president's pity parties

He's had the roughest years since FDR. He's been picked on. He's got terrorism to fight. He's got PROBLEMS with Republicans.
Obama’s whining is puerile. One does hope it’s been the toughest year and a halfhe’s ever had. He is the president, and it’s a job that requires a bit of work. But to treat the previous presidents with so little respect is unbecoming. Sure, he has two wars to fight – just as his predecessor did – and a global struggle against radical Islam. But he isn’t even focusing (with a few exceptions) on these events. What seems to have him down is that he has a political opposition resisting his agenda.

The presidency is a job that you really have to want in order to get. The last thing people want to hear from a president is even an iota of self-pity.
