Detroiters vandalize brand new walkway

This is typical Detroit.The government builds a beautiful walkway for the residents and then they try to ruin it the first day. They call it "tagging" but the truth is it's just vandalism. The Blog Prof:
Good grief. The Gateway Project in downtown Detroit is a huge construction project that affords pedestrians easy access to the Ambassador Bridge to Canada. Part of the project is a $5 million span called the Mexicantown Bagley Avenue Pedestrian Bridge. Less than one day after it opened, it was totally vandalized by spray paint and carving of bench wood. One of the vandals was caught on tape and is a Detroit Free Presscopy editor! From The Detroit News, which until not long ago was owned by the same liberal media group that owns the freep: Vandals mar new pedestrian bridge in Detroit. Check out this video of who we learn later is the freep copy editor, and note that she says "I shouldn't do that" as the camera approached her (I suspect she saw it coming from her peripheral vision):
