Essential reading: anatomy of a racial smear

Tea partiers are just ordinary citizens, mostly people who have never been politically active before. Concern about the direction of this country has motivated ordinary citizens to protest the actions of the government regarding foolish and destructive spending, extraordinary and divisive preferences and the general left-wing bent of the government. Truly extraordinary measures have been taken by the MSM and this administration to discredit these citizens, to demean and discourage them and to stop the flood of social action in which they are participating. Read here the timeline of how the MSM and the DNC attempted to create a scenario in which tea partiers are accused of being racists and homophobes and shouting defamatory statements at the congress people who paraded through the demonstration WITH CAMCORDERS hoping that such behavior would happen. It's pretty obvious, and pretty pathetic, that a once noble effort to extend civil rights to all individuals has come to this. It's pretty pathetic. Go here to Director Blue, who examines the actual timeline and the VERY MYSTERIOUS postings that take place within 2-3-4 minutes of the so-called events happening.Hm. How did that work, we wonder.
Mark Steyn also comments on this contrived and despicable situation.
This article attempts to reconstruct the events of 3/20/2010, in which Congressional Democrats were reportedly harassed by Tea Party activists with racial and sexual slurs during their walks to and from the Capitol building. Reports that black Congressmen had been called the "n-word" spread within minutes into mainstream media reports.
