Perry wins

Rick Perry won with 51% of the vote in the Texas gubernatorial race, which means no runoff.  This is good news, because he is a conservative. KB Hutchison only received 31% of the vote; she is a RINO. What I do not understand is that the tea party "candidate" won almost 1/5 of the vote. Why would conservatives split the vote this way? Fortunately it worked out, but I'm not sure this bodes well for the future. People have been calling talk shows and complaining that they are looking for a third party to vote for, which will give the vote to the liberals. Just a thought.
