Here's a pretty clear shot of Cleaver walking behind the group, slowly up the stairs, and some guy shouting with cupped hands as Cleaver walks up the stairs, stops, looks at him, says something, does NOT notify the cop, continues on, then makes a motion to wipe something from his face about 6 steps up from the so-called spitter. It's pretty plain, as Riehl says, at 1:25, that the guy is shouting before they get there and just continues. Eh. This spitting charge is phony, as I believe are the charges of name calling.
