Obama weaves a tale of woe about a supporter of his in St. Louis (and apparently a personal acquaintance given the way he talks of her) who died recently of breast cancer. Obama blames her passing on her inability to get health care, and naturally makes the point that we need to pass a government take over of health care.
Because nobody ever dies from an inability to access care under a government-run system, right? Well, someone might want to ask the Brits about that. In that country, the World Health Organization estimates that 25,000 people die every year due to delays in the government-run health care system.
