All over the left wing web today

Are criticisms about Palin using her hand for crib notes, on which she wrote "energy, taxes & lift America's spirits." Now, to me, that indicates not CRIB notes, but reminders of focus, much less than is needed with a teleprompter (which, of course, enables the speaker to appear to be looking at the audience while lifting his chin courageously). Here's a rundown at NRO. They are just so desperate to attack her, they can't accept that she doesn't need a teleprompter.

For example, one might say: "Unlike the guy who needs a three thousand dollar teleprompter to get out of bed in the morning, Palin speaks from concise notes like everybody else. And, like other busy moms, she sometimes writes notes on her hand." The comeback is so obvious that, again, I really can't figure out why Palin's detractors are bringing this up at all.
