“Don’t count on your insurance premiums going down. According to the Congressional Budget Office, the bills do little or nothing to reduce insurance premiums. For millions of Americans, the Senate bill will actually make things worse, increasing insurance premiums by 10%-13% for Americans who buy their insurance through the non-group market, that is those who don’t receive insurance from their employer. Those increases are over and above the increases that would occur if we did nothing — roughly doubling premiums by 2016, according to the CBO. You also may not be able to keep the insurance you have today. Insurance plans would have to meet certain government-defined standards. Those standards may be more expensive than your current plan or may include benefits you don’t want.”

Health care going up under both new bills
Well, they didn't say your bill would go DOWN, after all, did they? In fact, not only will ALL our bills go up, there WILL be rationing of care to cover the costs of insuring millions of new people, including illegal aliens who flood the country (Not so much at the present moment since there are so few jobs available...).
