Michelle Obama said women are being “crushed by the current structure of our health care” because they often are responsible for taking care of family illnesses, arranging checkups and monitoring follow-up care.

Heard of Michelle O's patient dumping scheme?
This just gets better and better. Politico is reporting that Michelle Obama may get out in the public eye to promote the Democrats proposed takeover of health care and who better to have out there then somebody who helped pioneer the program officially known as the Urban Health Initiative, but most often referred to as "patient dumping". Maybe now we can get some answers to some lingering questions that the Chicago Sun-Times raised over a year ago. You know when the campaign was going on and the media was in full "See No Evil, Speak No Evil, Hear No Evil" mode.
Video of Dear Leader encouraging increased spending on health care
SHOCK VIDEO--- Barack Obama in April 2007 told a group of supporters: Health Care Reform Requires Tax Hikes — Savings Just a Theory.
"Initially you may need another $90-100 billion each year."
Funny. That sure isn't what he told the American public last week during his speech to Congress.

Missile shield dismantled
President Obama said it's ok if we scrap the missile defense system that we have spent billions of dollars developing, testing, and perfecting because we have something better. There is nothing better than our current missile defense system. We know it works because we have tested it over and over again. We have spent many years and billions of dollars publicly testing and perfecting our land based missile defense system. We tested it publicly as a show of force so all hostiles knew what our capabilities were. It sent a message that we could shoot down anything they shot at us or our allies.
More ACORN videos to come
“There are more,” Mike Flynn, Editor-in-chief of new site BigGovernment.com, told HUMAN EVENTS in an exclusive interview this afternoon regarding the number of undercover films exposing ACORN. Flynn would not reveal the location of the ACORN office where the latest video was filmed, but he said, “It’s a slightly different discussion in this one than you’ve seen so far.” The video should break around 9 p.m. EST.

Hey, Charlie Gibson! ACORN doesn't fall far from the tree!
There is a chance the latest scandals will convince Democrats that Acorn is too toxic a political partner. And President Barack Obama, who once ran a voter-registration program for an Acorn partner (Project Vote) and then worked for Acorn as a lawyer on key cases, has every incentive to distance himself further from the organization.
NBC howler
Norah O’Donnell of NBC News fretted this morning that the ACORN sting videos “might be viewed as entrapment.”Yes, she actually said it.
Mark Finkelstein has the transcript/video here.
Now, let me remind Ms. O’Donnell of the glorious history of news “entrapment” at NBC News.
Um, there was that little matter of the rigged GM truck crash tests by the fakers at Dateline:
Racism, racism, racism everywhere
Nothing new here — remember, James Clyburn already compared town-hall protesters to goons who attacked civil-rights marchers — but between this and Howard Kurtz’s argument this morning that it’s racist to shout at Obama about the Constitution, I think the “post-racial presidency” can be safely pronounced dead and buried. It was always a fraud, of course, starting with the racial insinuations directed at the Clintons by Team Barry, on through the general election when accusations about McCain’s alleged racism would slip oh so innocently from The One’s lips (ask Mark Salter about that), and right up to the present day, when a guy who never seems to stop talking somehow can’t be bothered to speak up when his pals on the left pinch off poisonous loaves like this.

Pelosi to attend "villainous" fundraiser
Remember when Nancy Pelosi called private health insurers “villains” and “almost immoral” two months ago?Well, never mind, eh, Nancy?
The Open Left blog reports exclusively that Pelosi will attend a fund-raiser next week hosted by villainous Steve Elmendorf, a registered lobbyist with almost immoral private health insurer, United Health. He’s throwing the party at his house on Sept. 24. Price of admission? $5,000 for PACs and $2,400 for individuals.
Screaming at the tv
The telling thing about Obama's argument is what it reveals about him. First, one would have hoped that the importance of the future of health care in this country would provide Obama with "every incentive to get this right." His statement suggests, though, that he is fully incentivized only by the political calculus.
