James O'Keefe has taken the fight to Medicaid. He has uncovered a culture of lawlessness in Medicaid offices, a hear no evil, see no evil, it's only the taxpayer's money attitude that exists in red states as well as blue states. Previously this blog posted a video taken in red Ohio and today it's red South Carolina. As much as we like Governors John Kasich and Nikki Haley we must admit that they have big problems, problems that arise from trying to administer a bad program. The Ryan budget would block grant Medicaid funds to the states and allow the states greater control over Medicaid, making the states would be truly responsible. One state I doubt that we will see O'Keefe in is Mississippi. In Mississippi a Medicaid applicant must be means tested every year.
