Largest tax in history passed by House
Democrats were aided by 7 House Republicans. They all need to be replaced. This tax will benefit members of Congress more than anyone. Nancy Pelosi, Edward Markey and Al Gore all have invested in stocks that will only be valuable if green laws are passed, regardless of their impact on the economy. Midwestern states will suffer the most because coal is a primary source of energy production. Tea party patriots are meeting at Hood Park in Perrysburg, Ohio, on July 4 from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Be there!

How much will cap and trade cost you?
You can figure it out here, where the Tax Foundation figures it to be 2% of your annual income, regardless of how much "carbon" you actually emit (breathe, consume). Use the link at the bottom of the article to figure your family's "contribution." Read about it here:
A new Tax Foundation calculator now shows how much a U.S. cap-and-trade system would cost individual households annually. The Tax Household Cap-and-Trade Burden Calculator is based upon a study released in March, Tax Foundation Working Paper No. 6, "Who Pays for Climate Policy? New Estimates of the Household Burden and Economic Impact of a U.S. Cap-and-Trade System." The study shows that a cap-and-trade system designed to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 15 percent would place an annual burden of $144.8 billion on American households. The average annual household burden would be $1,218, which would be approximately 2% of the average household income.
Cap and trade coming soon
Ever heard of cap and trade? It is a bill that will make energy costs soar in the United States. It is a scheme to tax all forms of energy..for what? So that politicians can take more taxdollars, supposedly to tax your carbon emissions. You breathe? You emit carbon. In our President's own words:
"Under my plan of a cap and trade system electricity rates would necessarily skyrocket. Businesses would have to retrofit their operations. That will cost money. They will pass that cost onto consumers."

Taxpayer $$ used for Cash for Clunkers programs
Read about it at Pajamas Media:
Rules are even better for trucks, a phenomenon that has more than a few green advocates seeing red. For light duty trucks (half-ton pickups and SUVs) that get less than 18 mpg, a 2 mpg improvement will earn a $3,500 voucher and a 5 mpg improvement will ring the $4,500 bell. Larger trucks (6,000-8,500 pounds) have an easier threshold — the old truck must get 15 mpg or less, but only has to improve 1 mpg for $3,500 credit or 2 mpg to pick up the $4,500 winnings. The trucks in the 8,500 to 10,000 pound class do not carry EPA fuel economy ratings, so owners can trade in their well-worn, pre-2002 big trucks for a new one and pick up $3,500 in credit for their big pickup, although those vouchers will be limited.
